Walden's custom SBR units are extremely reliable and easy to
operate. Despite that built-in reliability, from time to time problems do
occur. Historically, an inoperative SBR unit has required an onsite visit from
an expert technician. This can be a very expensive and time consuming
undertaking for those package treatment plants located hundreds, or even
thousands of miles from the home office. |
|

|
It has been our experience that many of the problems that
may occur in SBR's can be fixed within an hour. Often the fix is a simple one,
like replacing a fuse or otherwise insuring electrical continuity. These kinds
of problems can be cured locally, without need of an expensive technician's
onsite visit, if they can be identified. |

In order to keep your water treatment problem under control,
Walden's SRB units are equipped with a unique remote diagnosis capability. By
making use of the modem and PLC built into every Walden unit, you can connect
your site to the experts at Walden for the mere cost of a phone line and the
phone call. In many cases a simple phone call can save you days or weeks of
down time. |

When a remote diagnosis is required, a Walden technician
will work from a computer in Walden's home office in Maine, querying your
plant's sensors to get a history of the problem and to determine the current
phase of the SBR process. In many cases a few minutes online will be all the
technician needs to determine the problem and offer a solution. Even in cases
where a technician visit is required, remote diagnosis can help facilitate an
accurate and rapid response from Walden.
Walden can provide clean water solutions worldwide. |
